HISTORICAL PLACES IN SKARDU
There are many historic places in skardu.
*KHARPOCHO*is the one of most historic place in skardu.it is fablous place in chumik side.in 1900 years ago the king of skardu ALI SHER KHAN anchan build this beautiful place.it is only place which situated on mountain.the mainn does of it made up of wood in unique style.here is also a mosque namely MASJID-E-PANTIJAN E PAK .down side of mosque there is zindan where enemies were punished in past.
there are 10 rooms in KHARPOCHO FORT which are so dark.in every room there are MORCHA. for sudden attack.this is only place in which use very little water for build.there is also room of QUIN which totaly made by salt,eggs,and milk so its become hard and strong.the water of big river of Sindh and Indus also accrosing from there.on the top of kharpocho our Pakistani flag can be seen waving.there are four army solder for our protection because there is a secrit path of go anemy country of India.
On special occasion and festival like JASHN-E-MEFANG,NOROZ,SHAP-E-BARAT.it is doctorates with fully lighting by the citizens of Skardu. from the top of KHARPOCHO we can see all skardu at once eyes.there is nothing any artificial all thing looks natural.there is a man who look after and protect that particular area.they have lots of information regarding history this place.he also provide information who visited there from all around the world people go there and look natural historical place of king and capture picture,make videos so event remain memorable.
